ПОЛИТИКА СЈЕДИЊЕНИХ АМЕРИЧКИХ ДРЖАВА ПРЕМА КРАЉЕВИНИ САУДИЈСКОЈ АРАБИЈИ ОД 2009. ДО 2017. ГОДИНЕ

Сажетак

Предмет овог истраживања представљају односи Сједињених Америчких Држава и Краљевине Саудијске Арабије у проблемским областима енергетске и војне безбедности у периоду од 2009. до 2017. године.           У првом делу рада дат је преглед дипломатских односа САД и Саудијске Арабије за време администрација Барака Обаме, други део рада је посвећен односима две земље у области војне безбедности, док се трећи део односи на енергетску безбедност. Основна претпоставка овог рада је да је у периоду после 2009. године дошло до смањења америчке енергетске зависности од држава на Блиском истоку, укључујући и Саудијску Арабију, док је зависност земаља на Блиском истоку у области војне безбедности, а пре свега Саудијске Арабије, остала непромењена. Услед тога, у раду се претпоставља да постоје односи асиметричне међузависности између две државе. Рад је емпиријске природе, али је вођен теоријом комплексне међузависности у међународним односима.
