Сажетак

Аутор у раду објашњава настанак, карактер, и развој босанскохерцеговачког федерализма унутар теоријско-епистемолошке парадигме историјског институционализма. Користећи фокалне теоријско-методолошке елементе историјског институционализма – анализа критичног раскршћа и путне зависности – аутор има за циљ да институционалном аргументацијом објасни трајност и стабилност босанскохерцеговачког федерализма упркос промјенљивим структуралним околностима. Доношење Дејтонског мировног споразума 1995. године који је, између осталог, уредио Босну и Херцеговину према федералном принципу, представља критично раскршће након којег је федерални аранжман наставио да се репродукује аутономно од контингентних друштвених околности. Након трасирања федералног институционалног пута, путна зависност је додатно стабилизовала федерално уређење и отежала различитим политичким актерима могућност његове промјене..
