CURRENT ISSUES OF UNIFICATION OF LEGAL PROTECTION OF THE INTERESTS OF THE EU MEMBER STATES IN THE FIELD OF FOREIGN TRADE ACTIVITIES
The article is devoted to the unification of the law in the field of protection of foreign trade interests. The author conducted a comparative and legal analysis of the methods and tools of customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation, applied in the legislation of the member states of the EAEU and the EAEU as a whole. The thesis is put forward about the insufficient level of unification of legislation in the designated area. The formation of a universal conceptual apparatus and the tools used in the national legislation of the EAEU member states are also being considered. The concept and signs of foreign trade activity are analyzed, the legal status of customs duties is determined, the features of definitions "tariff preferences," "tariff benefits," "tariff quotas," "special duties" are disclosed, etc.
