Abstract

A new book published by the Institute for Political Studies, Belgrade, is in front of you.

THE MUD AGE AND THE FLOURISHING OF AMBROSE, is the name of the monograph in which the author Ljubinko Milosavljević tried in a specific way to point out the senselessness of the tendency, not only in our country but also in the world, that an increasing percentage of the population lives in cities, where “the day begins when the day passes ”, and that the vast expanses, the atari that traditionally belonged to the village, are left to the wild.

The muddy age is a metaphor used by the author to indicate the historical degeneration of the human race, into which we fell after the golden, silver, bronze and iron ages. And then there is ragweed, which easily spreads, scatters and grows without anyone’s help and dangerously endangers human health. The mighty villages that have been swallowed up by the cities have become prime breeding grounds for weed powder. Today, when life is understood as fun and entertainment, since we all became literate and re-educated, no one wants to live in the village anymore.

What happens when ambrosia blooms and a commitment to a pernicious lifestyle takes over?
