CEREMONIAL DAY OF THE FACULTY OF DIPLOMACY AND SECURITY
The Day of the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security, Belgrade, and also the Day of Serbian Diplomacy, was solemnly celebrated on May 29, 2024, in the Amphitheater of the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security.
Among those present were numerous dignitaries, representatives of the highest state authorities, embassies, managers and representatives of state institutions, faculty professors, graduates and students.
The ceremony was attended in front of the Institute for Political Studies, Belgrade, by Dr. Zoran Milošević, Deputy Director of IPS, Dr. Marija Đorić, Assistant Director for Scientific Research, and MSc. Dajana Lazarevic.
The program of the ceremony began with the singing of the hymn “God’s Justice”, performed by the Technical Students’ Club choir, conducted by Mrs. Nataša Lazić Živković.
The attendees were first addressed by prof. Dr. Radojica Lazić, Dean of the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security, and then: Ms. Marina Raguš, Vice-President of the National Assembly and President of the Foreign Affairs Committee; H.E. Mr. Basel Salah, ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Serbia; Ms. Mirjana Katić, director of the Mathematical Gymnasium, Belgrade and Nikola Petrović, M.Sc., FDB student with the highest average in master’s studies in the 2022/2023 school year. year.
Prof. Dr. Radojica Lazić, dean of the Faculty, emphasized the importance of educating young experts in the field of diplomacy and security, audio-visual arts, applied software engineering and information technologies, and then praised the work of the teaching and scientific staff of the Faculty, the magazine “Diplomacy and Security”, non-teaching staff and students.
On this occasion, plaques of appreciation, letters of thanks to the institutions with which FDB cooperates, awards for the best students and diplomas for completing studies were presented.
We would like to thank the dean and employees of the Faculty of Diplomacy and Security for the warm welcome and wish them even more successful work in the future.
