THE CONCEPT OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND THE DESIRE FOR POWER
The subject of this article is the relationship between power and justice in human society, speaking in a broader sense. In a narrower sense, the relationship between the feeling of inferiority, inseparable from an individual, from which, due to a combination of fear and the need for greater safety of the body, a desire for power is born, which in most cases is never satisfied. The aim of this article is to show that there is a connection between an insufficient amount of accumulated power, which is always measured in relation to someone else's power, on the one hand, and the origin of the need for social justice, on the other hand. The theoretical frameworks used primarily refer to Alfred Adler's human psychology and John Rawls' theory of justice, but also to social contract theories as well as the Realpolitik theory. In the article, we arrived at the conclusions supporting the thesis that maintaining the concept of social justice is explained through a Realpolitik theoretical paradigm, rather than taking the position of a normative and ontological political paradigm.
