Dragana Dinić, PhD, is the Research Associate of the Institute for Political Studies. Expert in the field of social and population policy, social gerontology and family sociology. Member of the Management Board and Editor-in-Chief of the publications of the Gerontological Society of Serbia. Former Secretary of the International Social Service of the Association of International Social Work "Paths" (2000-2008), as well as member of the Serbian Government’s Council on Aging and Old Age (2005-2009). Author of numerous studies, books, thematic publications and guides, notably: “Mreža gerontoloških kapaciteta u Srbiji – Vodič za dijasporu” (Network of Gerontological Capacities in Serbia - Guide for Diaspora) (Gerontological Society of Serbia and Ministry for Diaspora of the Republic of Serbia, 2008), “Equalization of the start position of the Romа and other children at enrolling in a school - Right to Education: Solution to all Problems or Problem without Solution?” (Institut international des Droits de l`Enfant c/o Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch, Sion, 2006) and most recently: “Maloletnički brakovi u Timočkoj Krajini” (Minors’ Marriages in Timok Krajina) (Institute for Political Studies, 2016).
