SIGNIFICANCE AND ROLE OF CERTAIN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION AND THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STATE
Although the international community defines corruption as the biggest security threat today because it links organized crime, money laundering, terrorism and other security threats, the fight against its actors, especially in cases of high political office, generally ends within the national judiciary. However, the existence of a single market and the free movement of goods, capital and services "opens" the door to all forms of corruption and gives it unlimited opportunities to spread. Therefore, at the initiative of the actors of the international community, several international organizations were founded, which with various competencies and authorities carry out various activities to combat corruption, previously encouraging states in various ways to incorporate internationally accepted standards into national legislation. This paper analyzes the establishment and role of several such organizations that have a major role in the fight against corruption at the international level, as well as the scope of their fight.
