ДЕЦЕНТРИРАЊЕ СВЕТА ПОСЛЕ КОЛОНИЈАЛИЗМА: СТРАТЕГИЈЕ СУПРОТСТАВЉАЊА ОД КРАХА ЦИВИЛИЗАТОРСКЕ МИСИЈЕ ДО УСПОНА НОВОГ ОРИЈЕНТАЛИЗМА

Сажетак

Аутор анализира допринос постколонијалних студија супротстављању западној хегемонији, децентрирању света који су колонизовале евроцентричне идеје и субјективизацији незападних заједница. Нагласак је на посткол олонијализму као жестоко оспораваној платформи, својеврсној „теоријској локацији“ отпора, и начинима на које је доприносио демистификацији и оспоравању западних привилегија у неоколонијалном свету. Значајна пажња је посвећена вези са постструктурализмом и ам­бивалентном односу према марксизму, укључујући начиине на које су марксисти покушавали да дискредитују и „сахране“ постколонијалну критику као непријатељску и саучесника доминације. Указано је зашто би постколонијалне увиде требало посматрати као комплементарне марксистичким, до којих се обично долазило уз занемаривање културалних чинилаца. Као илустрација величи­не изазова, у раду је дат кратак преглед начина на које данас бивају легитимисане оријенталистичке бинарности, а западне интервенције уоквирене као спасилачке мисије. Аутор истиче да је колонијализам неопходно посматрати и као „колонијализам ума“, те да је борба против неоколонијализма увек и „унутрашња“, захтева конфронтацију са аутоколонијалним актерима. Пажња је посвећена спорењима и недоумицама везаним за есенцијализам, сенку која се надвија над постколонијалне увиде и могућност да буду искоришћени у различитим политикама субјективизације и отпора. Затим су, у контексту светске економске кризе и глобалног „рата против терора“, преиспитани изазови већ етаблираној и институционализованој постколонијалној критици. У завршном делу рада, истакнут је допринос постколонијалних студија разумевању последица лиминалног положаја Балкана и указано на њихов значај у покушајима супротстављања неоколонијалим интервенцијама у Србији и остатку региона.
