Сажетак

Овај научни рад показује да се питање добросуседских односа на Балкану као услова за придруживање ЕУ, мора посматрати пре свега кроз правну димензију засновану на постојећем легислативном оквиру ЕУ којим се уређује сам ток и услови пријема у ЕУ. У досадашњој пракси земаља Балкана, у овом раду обрађеној кроз четири студије случаја међусобних спорова између земаља кандидата и/или земаља чланица (Хрватске, Србије, Црне Горе, БЈР Македоније и Грчке), види се да је често пријем у ЕУ имао и политичку димензију. Закључак који се у истраживању намеће је да би у будућем периоду ЕУ, приликом процеса придруживања земаља суседа на Балкану, требало строго да инсистира на избегавању било какве политичке димензије у решавању њихових међусобних спорова, што ће и сам процес придруживања знатно унапредити и олакшати.
