CEREMONY ON THE OCCASION OF THE INDEPENDANCE DAY OF BELARUS
The team of the Embassy of Belarus in Belgrade has prepared two interesting receptions for its admirers these days. On June 25, the “Autographs of Courage” exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders was held in the Russian House in Belgrade. And two days later, on June 27, a ceremony was held at the Aeroclub on the occasion of the Independence Day of Belarus, which is celebrated throughout our brotherly and friendly country with numerous ceremonies and a parade in the capital Minsk on July 3.
The ceremonial reception was opened by His Excellency Mr. Sergej Malinovski, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Serbia. The national anthems of Belarus and Serbia were masterfully sung by Belarusian artist Daria Isakovich. Distinguished guests, friends of the Embassy of Belarus, from the world of politics, military, culture, science, economy, as well as diplomatic representatives of other countries, had the opportunity to meet and socialize with each other, along with interesting facts about Belarusian culture today. In addition to the Ambassador, his advisor Mr. Pavel Mironov and military attache Colonel Sergej Lavshuk proved to be real hosts.
The official reception was also attended by a delegation from the Institute for Political Studies, led by Dr. Zoran Milosevic, the most prominent representative of Belarusian-Serbian scientific ties.
