НОВИ ТЕОРИЈСКИ ПРАВЦИ У ПРОУЧАВАЊУ ЛОКАЛНЕ САМОУПРАВЕ

Сажетак

У овом раду, аутор анализира савремене теоријске правце у проучавању локалне самоуправе. Као основна парадигма користи се теоријска, при чему се рационални избор, социолошки и историјски институционализам идентификују као најзначајнији модели у оквиру „новог институционализма“. У одељцима посвећеним наведеним струјама унутар новог институционали­зма утврђују се њихове предности и недостаци. Посебна пажња је посвећена имплементацији и последицама новог јавног менаџмента у развијеним политичким системима. Аутор низом хипотеза утврђује да развој локалне самоуправе, и у ширем контексту децентрализације доприноси општем, друштвеном развоју. У том смислу, реформа локалних институција представља једну од кључних компоненти за успешну трансформацију политичког система у целини.
