ПОЛИТИЧКЕ ПАРТИЈЕ И ЕВРОПСКИ ИЗБОРИ

Сажетак

Циљ овог рада јe да анализира основне теоријске правце и реформе, као и однос транснационалних политичких групација према европским изборима. Развој изборног законодавства ЕУ није текао упоредо са институционалним и политичким променама. Питање европских избора, путем којих се врши избор чланова јединог демократски легитимног органа Уније, у директној је вези са губитком јавног поверења у Европски Парламент. Демократски дефицит ЕУ последица је недовољно дефинисаних међуинституционалних односа и немогућности ЕП да самостално креира законодавство. Преносом већег броја надлежности на ЕП и унификованим изборним системом дошло би до смањивања јаза између политичке елите Уније и њених грађана, уз јачање европске свести и идентитета.
